Will the lash industry shift away from classic lashes?

Did you know that volume sets can be significantly lighter weight then classic sets?

 

To summarize what I am about to go in-depth with, a lightweight, volume set, is healthier than a classic set. We can essentially style a light volume set, to mimic the look of a classic set.

My question for the industry is, why are we still using classic lashes? I’m not suggesting we skip the fundamentals of classic lash application, as I believe at that level of education - we do master the importance and technique behind isolation. 

I have been providing the service of “natural glam sets” for three years now. The industry tends to call this look, a “wet lash” look. I do have some different techniques to creating the fans, although, very similar finished product.

 

Why or why don’t you choose the natural glam sets over classic sets? They can look so similar, so I love to hear why people still choose classic over this style?

Reality:
A 9D .05 volume fan = A single .15 classic lash

Therefore-
A closed 3-4 D volume fan is lighter weight then a classic lash.
